    Default Battle of Waterloo disaster

Apart from the result, 63 Brits and 42 French making it 3 in a row for the Brits, went to close the rear window on my Alpine GTA V6 Turbo at the end of the event and the glass just shattered. Just wondering if anyone one has a spare new or used before I start shopping overseas? Fortunately, it will be covered by insurance courtesy of Shannons.

I have no idea of the cause and I don't think it was the cold. I suspect that my struts were too weak to hold the glass and on reflection may be low on gas so that provided little resistance to closing the glass and it went down a bit too hard. So the struts will be the first thing to be remedied. I will try autoglass. They supplied me with a new windscreen a few years back and even had one in stock - so here's hoping.

That is not good to hear Barry. That must have happened just after we left?
    Hope Autoglass can help?
