    Default Nice Dauphine Gordini

Hello Froggers, just wondering if any of you have big money worries (too much money that is). I would be more than happy for you to buy me this Dauphine G as a belated birthday present.
Unfortunately I can't afford it at the moment but I think I need it !

That's a pretty nice looking example of my first car.
    I still regret selling it . . .

I've had 5 in my time Geoff. They're what started the Renault obsession with me as a kid. Just love Dauphines
    cheers,

Very, very nice. Obviously a well looked after unit and would be a worthwhile addition to anybody's collection.

If I had the money, I'd love to buy that for my Dad.

He had exactly the same model/color when he was my age and still harps on about it to this day.

He's still got plenty of photos when the drove it to Adelaide for their honeymoon.

    Pretty car and nice color.

Does anybody personally know this car?

If so, what is the interior like? It looks original but a little shabby in the photos, but it's hard to say because of the mats?

Sigh! So many cars, so little space.
Every day when I wake up I reach up in the darkness with my eyes shut and if I cannot feel anything that resembles a wooden lid I know it will be a good day. No lid today.

Seeing they have replaced the original chrome badges with golden bling, you would reckon they could at least have got the one on the LH guard straight.

Didn't some of them come factory with gold badges Simon ? I've seen a fair mix of silver badges and gold badges on them and assumed they came that way. I think I've even got one of the gold Gordini badges in the shed off a red parts car I once had.
    cheers,

    John

Yes, but the bluey coloured cars only came with the chrome badges. The red (and beige) cars came with gold badges.
