Default Renault 19, rear torsion bar adjustment?

    Hi,
is it possible to raise the rear of the R19 up?
Can you rotate the torsion bar in the housing to raise the car at the back?

Couldn't find anything in either the R19 or P306 manual.

    Anyone done this ?

I think the Nissan Prairie had a procedure in their workshop manual. Don't remember details but i think there is a lot of tension and special tools are required.

    Default T-bar adjust?

Why can't they have snail cams like the R16?

In theory you raise the car of the ground with the shockers undone ,reset one spline the other way.........

    Depends on ,
    if it is this simple.
if the spline has a flat or key machined in it.
