    Default R8 at wreckers?

A workmate has told me he's seen what he thinks is a near complete R8 at Dapto Pick-a-Part.
His description of the car certainly makes it sound like it's an R8, he tells me it is in the european section, but then he tells me it is amongst a bunch of old pommy cars Minis, Worsley, etc.
So I'm thinking it may be a Hillman Imp, but it maybe worth a phone call to you R8 nuts!

    Imps, 8's, 10's... they're all cool.

Yeah, Renault 10. Been there a little while now. I know someone who took or tried to get the rubber mats out of it.

Thanks for the clarification guys, I asked the workmate about the headlight and blinkers, so that I could determine whether it was an R10 or R8. He'd said it had round headlights and separate round blinkers, so I narrowed it down to and R8 or Imp.
I'll have to get him to get his eyes checked!

And I agreed Dave, they're all cool!

    Yes it is Vivid.
My mate went back there and took a photo to show me.
It's a blue/grey colour, all the panels seem to be there, it looks like the headlights are missing, but the the blinker units are still intact but have lost their colour, he didn't look at the back so he doesn't know whether the rear lights are there or any good, but he did say it had a fair bit of rust.
