Default A weekend in the RS250

i were lucky enough to take the demo RS250 Cup Trophee for the weekend and take it to the round up on sunday.
This is a big step up from the 225 (i love the 225).
This car is sooo much fun to drive but will also happily cruise the freeway using under 7 lt/100 kms.

The recaros are great when you in them. I think getting in and out as a daily driver might
be let fun....... but overall a great car and would buy one in a flash if the budget allowed.

Only downer.....slammed my finger in the door. the door closed completely ....didnt hurt until i opened the door. it bleed for about 14 hrs .....

i like the power of the car as well as the interior comfort levels. I liked the suspension settings. they are firmer than my 225 but i found it to my liking.
I am not a track day person (lack of time) . overall i found it quick and agile while still being very comfortable and well appointed. No rattles or squeaks from the car all all. Just felt like the fit and finish has moved to a new level.
    My opinion only

I had one chasing me around the track at Sandown - massive grip and go it seemed. The driver reported that the Gallardo could not shake him off.

    Hi Rick,

I hope you didn't bleed all over the interior

There is a law against doing more than 100kmh...there's no law on how fast you get to 100kmh!!!

Without denigrating the Renault - I want one bad... the last trackday I was at with a 458 Ferrari and Lambo Murcielago, neither was much faster than me in the 206, except on the straights. I went 2 laps with the Ferrari behind me.

That is to say, I don't think the owners tend to push the supercars too fast at open trackdays. Very risky business!
