Default calling all Fuego and r18 owners!

Hi can the Fuego and r18 owners out there please post a pic of their gearstick boot. I want to see if it is the same as the r20 S1 boot. They have a common part number but there are a couple of options. Would be much appreciated.
    Thanks

    G'day Michael,

rubber boot on the floor is listed here as 7704000961 for the Fug - which comes up in Google as suiting the 20/30. So you could be right.

Should be easy enough to get a good one to play with ?

Can't find the page with the console trim bit.....

ok, leather trim bit in the console is 7700685062, but looks like there is an alternative rubber trim 7700634099 that also is used on later model vehicles. PM Simon, he has all the latest info on these damn numbers :-)

    cheers,
    Bob

I thought it was brown, but it apears it is black.

Anyway this is maybe what you are after. Its black and rubbery.
This one has been in the sun for years, but the rest of them are fully covered by a console and leather boot, so will be in pristine condition.

Not much from the R18 owners. Thin on the ground I expect.

That boot looks familiar, therefore I think one of my cars has it.
    I'll have a look tomorrow.

    Hi,

Here is a pic of my R18 gear boot and it does look like your R20 boot. If you'd like further pics or any dimensions, just let me know.

    cheers,

    Icon10 Ditto

Mine used to be a ratty looking leather (or vinyl) job but I soon accepted a donation of a boot that looks just like the concertina-styled one Fuego-Go has shown. I'm still not sure where it originated but I thought it was off a Holden. I just jammed the lowest, largest rib into the rectangular hole in the console and it looks like a bought one.

    G'day Michael

a few foreign sites have them on offer if you Google "Renault 7700634099"

Send Ken an email and see if they are here as well - it's a "modern" bit if it's on the Traffic.... ?

    cheers,
    Bob

    G'day Michael,

dialogys says that part, 7700634099, is used on the Traffic from March 1989 [pr 1230 & 1232]

the other numbers, 7704000961 & 7700685062, relating to the fug don't get a mention in dialogys.

    cheers,
    Bob

    G'day again,

you should download that dialogys stuff, bit strange but you can find your way around it and it's really handy for picking up the old stuff that's been recycled through the later vehicles.

check here: Download links for manuals, tech data etc first post

    cheers,

    G'day Michael,

looks like they've locked it up. It's Russian version of AF.

Just as well in the internet world there's always another way.....

    G'day Michael,

right click each file and download [save link as....], the NRG files, once downloaded, form a CD each with Nero - they are zipped up cd's, OK ?

follow the install directions in the PDF file.

works here OK on an ancient laptop with win 2k, looks like the dialogys is 2007 version.

    cheers,
    Bob
