Default More r20's added to the fleet!

    Hi
All you series 2 r20 fans will be please to know that I picked up 2 series 2 r20's over the last 2 days!
Both cars came from Canberra. Both are 82 models with one being silver and the other green.
The silver car will be parted out(already taken the 5 speed out!) and the green one will be stored for now with intention of doing something with it in the near future.
It is way to good to wreck and apart from the peeling paint and cracked/faded door trims is in good condition. I may consider selling it if some one want a good s2 r20 as I want to continue with the 79 S1 so the 82 will have to wait until that is finished.
Anyway I will post some pic's tomorrow.

    So that now brings my r20 grand total to 5 cars. A 79, 2 81's and 2 82's.
Lucky i have a good size backyard!!

Does the silver one have navy cord cloth? You have to admit the seats are smart!!

yea I like the green too. I think white suits them most. They look so clean and smart in white.
The silver has the blue seats. The colour of the seats is nice but the silver is horrible. Made them look old even when they were new.

Michael, it is good to see you continuing to increase the R20 fleet. At least then, I will know who to ask when I am looking for spare parts for mine.

    Cheers

Default You are as bad as I was ! ....... mebbe worse???

    OH Micheal!

Mate, YOU are as bad as I was!

I am VERY Happy about this R20 downpour!

EXACTLY the same thing occurred to me when I acquired my FIRST Renault 20TS, as I'd still lotsa
R12s & only wanted an R20 for the AIR CONDITIONING but.... then .... suddenly... these astonishing RENAULTS started to appear EVERYWHERE!

I'd never even SEEN one before & then they just "KEPT ON COMING"!!!!

    I was ELATED!

Such FANTASTIC cars & I felt like I'd the BEST SECRET in the UNIVERSE! ha ha heee!!!

I enjoyed my years of collecting & driving Renault 20s more than I can say...but .. NOW you KNOW!

Keep on collecting them mate & enjoy them!

I am SO glad that someone else has discovered them & has 'gone overboard' as much as I did!

    ENJOY them Micheal!

    Best wishes, Mark20s but now12s

    Default All those R20's!

Don't worry about them Michael, you could always turn them into fish tanks for your cichlids (?), or adventure playgrounds for the rest of your children...

    Hi finally took some photos!
Recon I could replace the sill on the silver car with one from the white one. Wonder if I could just put it over the top of the old one?
Better wreck it. Need the parts.

He who dies with the most Renault's wins !! If I won x lotto, I'd have a warehouse full of Renaults ! I'm down to just one now due to a lack of space and now I'm having withdrawal symptoms - need more Renaults !!!
    cheers,

Me too. Have friend in France with his own private Renault Museum in a special building with all his 20 or 30 Renaults on display. Oh to have that option.
