    Peter,
I have a wiring diagram that I can photocopy for you.
Send me a PM with your address, and I will post it to you.

Is this the one from the RTA book? Or did Renault actually get their act together in the end and produce their own wiring diagram?

    Simon,
It is from the RTA manual. Both Rob Sealey & I can confirm its accuracy.
I have never seen a Renault produced wiring diagram for the 1135.

Yep, the RTA diagram is what I used too, it is a good diagram. Just note that it is for the earlier cars with the single driving/auxiliary light switch, not the later cars with the separate switches. But that is not a major hassle.

    Default 1135 wiring diagram

    Thanks Rob and Simon

That info. and help has been of great assistance. The project is at the frustrating stage where I am trying to get components etc ready for the shell when I get it back and around each corner I turn is a new challenge.

I look forward to getting the diagram

    Cheers

    Default Wiring

I've just bought an R8 G "clone"... the dashboard is from a G but it's not hooked up at the moment. It's in, but not "wired". What would be my best resource for putting that together?

    THanks all...

Try out this web page, someone has been busy scanning the RTA manual, and has copied the 8G wiring diagram. The only thing missing is the legend from the pic detailing the components, but it should be reasonably self explanatory. Oh, and no there isn't a colour version, and there is no legend which details the actual wire colours either.

Then scroll down to "R8 GORDINI : Schéma de câblage" for the zip file.

I am a new member. Found your comment on a wiring diagram and was unable to find it on the web site mentioned. Any help would be appreciated. Am now restoring a l964-5(?) R8 Gordini and need to sort out a butcher job on the wiring. Thanks. Jim Degnan

Wow! A thread that survived the great fire, perhaps next time......

Welcome aboard Jim, but that's that's a five year old link, try this one.

As before, the RTA diagram is for the early R1135 Gordini. Your car, likely an R1134 Gordini 1100 will likely not (unless they have been retrofitted) have the driving lights and front fuel tank, and will also have a generator (unless an alternator has been retrofitted as well).
