    Default R18 Turbo head set

    Hi All

I have been trying to aquire a r18 turbo head set for a few gaskets I need to finish off my r17 repower , however as I dont have the oval plate details of the donor vehicle it is proving difficult to get a set.

I have made inquiries with various suppliers (including renault NZ which have been very helpful so far) but there appears to be 3 gasket sets available for the 807 generation turbo engine , does anyone have a way of indentifying the block/head vs gasket set ?

    Regards
    Dale.

Do you have the engine details of the donor motor from the plate on the block, or did you just get the head?

    According to the good book:

Head gasket (inc adj. rubber seal) 7701 461 640

    VRS Set 7701 461 752.

For reasons only known to Renault, a full gasket set doesn't seem to have been produced for the 18T/Fuego T. The sump gsket, timg cover gaskets and seals being listed separately.

It isn't listed in any parts book! :-)
