    Are you sure?
Ren - 012 used to run around Mt druitt on a white R12 Wagon. I saw it only a few months ago. Maybe they have handed it back in the meantime.

Normally I think it says it's taken and doesn't let you get that far, so must have been handed back in coincidently; or I'm wrong about the numberplate I've seen!

REN 012 was taken a couple of years back as I tried to get it. I had to settle with REN 01Z, but I've now handed that back in too!
The problem with these plates these days is that they now attract a yearly fee!
    Cheers Renomad

$130....Worth it for REN 012,I'd say.If you wanted BMW M3,you would have to pay about $500 each year,as it would be a custom plate and attract the higher premium.Whats $130 when it comes to rego/insurence time.I'd be jumping at that plate, which is still there by the way.
Just bought myself a red REN 085 to go on the red fuego. As the guy up the road has my first choice on his fuego,REN 02L ,My only other choice in the poverty range, was FUG 001,or FUG 085,but the asociation with the other context of FUG was a bit strong for my tastes.
Its amazing that I can remember a tune i heared in primary school, but cant ,for the life of me EVER remember my numberplate until about three years after the car has moved on.Hoping this will simplify things somewhat.

i was hoping for TUR802, but i think EVERY TUR80? plate has been taken
guess the personal plates will suffice!

How about RST 802 (R5T (ur) BO2) or RSB 220/ STB 220 (R5 8220) (5T 8220), the 8220 may be a tad obscure being the cars model number......

Or REN 05 T in the three letter, two number, letter series......

8220, a little too obscure for me, Reno5T to generic, its a 5T2!!!

When i get the grandfathers magna (1981 model, 40,000 genuine k's, rugs on the back seats 100% of the time), i'll look into it

    Let's go really obscure.

TDC 082 (Tour de Corse 1982 winner, your's has a TdC front bumper)

OWT O8 T (probably better read in the mirror of the many Pug's you will be passing, T(ur)BO TWO

As for the Magna, you sure it isn't a Sigma being 1981? Yeah I know, big deal they are both just wheels :-)

Yeah your right $130 isn't that much money these days, hope the missus sees it the same way!
There used to be a Fuego around my parts with FUE 60....( there was some other letter or number on the end) but the last time I saw it, it was in a car yard with normal yellow plates, maybe these are now available!
It was pretty clever I thought!

While we're on the subject of clever plates, I remember seeing REN 08U on a R19!
    Cheers Renomad

No, I no longer have my R12, but I will be getting some sort of custom plates for my Fuego. I like the looks of the Euro style plates but the problem with these is that they all start with the letter N.
    Cheers Renomad
