    Default Scenic Window Regulator

The third (&*^%?) window regulator has failed in my scenic and after fairly annoyingly expensive repairs for the first two I've tried sourcing a spare for the third and DIY it.
I seem to be able to source a fairly cheap one from the UK but the delivery is very expensive.
I was wondering if anyone new of a suplier in Australia or another OS supplier who may not use TNT overnight couriers.

So have the others broken within a reasonable time of having been replaced? If so I'd be approaching the dealer, as the parts themselves (if pieces d'origine Renault) should be covered by some sort of warranty even if the car itself is out of warranty.

Otherwise try asking the OS source to send it normal post or normal airmail rather than express courier. Have you tried asking wreckers around Sydney, say ASV, to see if there are any secondhand ones (which also are not flawed!) around.

Agreed Simon - if they send it by Royal Mail, it is much cheaper for overseas surface and airmail, but has a 2 kg limitation (3 kg for printed material) - the Royal mail rates are a bit harder to find on the website, but worth quoting for the information of the vendor other wise they tend to use parcelforce (like UPS) which IS expensive and no better than the Royal Mail alternative.

It is funny that even the Royal Mail Post Offices quote you parcelforce rates for overseas until you refer them to their own published rates!!
