Default Maybe a glimpse at some future Renault/Nissan tech...

I could be streaching things here, but the underlying idea of a nissan, RWD and 6speed box maybe interesting to renault stuff... Designed in the Californian Design Studio of nissan it points to a hybrid of technology.

Nissan could be bringing you Xbox-ers a dream come true. It’s a sports coupe called the Urge. This concept car has six-speed manual, rear-wheel drive, driver-integrated cockpit and a built-in Xbox gaming system. I guess the driver can drive while the passenger plays PGR? Look for this jewel at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit this coming January, though nobody is real sure about details.

    NISSAN URGE
Set to make its world debut in early January 2006 at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit is the dynamic Nissan URGE concept. A pure, powerful sports car with motorcycle-inspired styling, the rear-wheel drive URGE features a quick, high-revving, small-displacement engine, 6-speed manual gearbox, brushed aluminum-alloy wheels, color-infused aluminum body panels and a driver-oriented cockpit with an integrated Xbox 360 gaming system. It was created by Nissan Design America, Inc., La Jolla, Calif.

The rear wheel drive car is motivated by a “quick, high-revving, small-displacement engine” through a six-speed gearbox. The body is done in aluminum, and wrapped around a “driver-oriented cockpit with an integrated Xbox 360 gaming system.”
