    very common warranty issue...

If the cars out of warranty then have a friendly chat with the local dealer & discuss options.
A newie costs around $650 from what i saw when my old one was done, the new ones are also revised & use different materials.

    or you can DIY

    Default Protective coating

I use a product called Johnsons one go vinal floor finish its a vinal coat and it keeps the skin of the grips in tact not to good if they are ripped but good if they are damaged .
doest ham any thing as it is vinal not silicone like armall which does more damage than good

I'm not so sure about "Armor-all" causing damage. I've been using it for the past 20 years without any side effects that I can determine. Anyone got any evidence other than subjective opinions?
