Afraid I'm too incompetent to put up site but I can't imagine that there are too many Renault on e-bay at any one time.

Found it from Rons PM, but the listing was taken down from ebay.

    Presumably the car is sold.

Lucky I am not trying to buy one. I am in collector cars, been right through and not a sign of it anywhere...found a nice DS but no Dauphine....silly if you ask me...someone who's looking for one won't find it easily, missed sale???...........(or just my misplaced brain?)

    Default Bum steer!

Sorry guys. The original ad was for ten days (I think), but it was ripped early. The body was really rough, so some one may have paid large dollars for the plates to rebadge a replica.

FOund it eventually. More rust than car, better for the little parts for a replica I'd say alot of work to get it into order.

Then how do you ever know what's a replica? Does the shell constitute a spare part?

Hmm, a Dauphine G is not a big dollar item, not too many people creating replicas for profit :-). The only item which may be of value would be the four speed gearbox for use in a historic Formula Junior Lotus.
