    Default R25 Inlet

What is the normal course of repair for the convoluted hose that runs between the air cleaner & intake manifold on series 1 R25? This is unobtianium, so has anyone got any bright ideas on a fix? Apparently the originals are a POS that die early, hence the unavailability.

Surprising to hear that yours has "died" - what happened to it? Looking at the one in our 25 it seems like it's made from a nice solid piece of rubber. I've moved it heaps of times getting it in and out of its space and it hasn't suffered any.

Have you tried talking to Ken from Caravelle or European Auto Imports, both here in Melbourne? They both have access to some of the harder to get bits, but failing that, I guess there's always duct tape...

    Mike,

Have you tried any wreckers in Perth? I know Pace Motors in Clapham St Beckenham have a late model R25 (ULP - has a different setup to the B29E leaded version you have), but they may have an leaded one or know a wrecker in Perth who has one.
