Icon1 Renault opens NVH facility for the acoustic treatment of powertrains

Renault today is inaugurating a new Noise Vibration and Harshness (NVH) unit devoted to the acoustic treatment of powertrains at its Technical Centre in Lardy. This is one of the most state-of-the-art facilities of its kind in Europe, bringing together vibro-acoustic testing and measurement procedures, including test cells for the study of noise and vibration...

I've just thought of a great bandwidth saver for the forum - a "mark as read" facility, similar to Outlook. Saves opening posts that you KNOW are just going to be a waste of time ;-)

    Geeez a tad harsh...

Lets just remember that AF is for everyone here & i'm thankful for Daniels "cut & paste jobs", and appreciate he's at least thinking of others & saving us trolling through the internet looking for reliable/valuable info.

If its so much of a hassle to read it, then why reply to it?

Cut & Paste I understand, it's the three word responses that assist no-one that annoys.

..and I am aware of the irony of replying to his comment, but I think I'm entitled to do it after 3 or so years of clicking & scrolling though vast amounts of worthwhile information only to find a "I like them" comment at the bottom.

Besides, this is Aussiefrogs. Continual conflict is the way things are run around here ;-) (please notice the wink!)

No one seems to be coming, so OK.

I had been out midweek, to diner farewelling a friend. One of them carvery and red wine sorta joints. As they say in the classics 'we sup'd mightily' and did the ports and a coupla drambuie's, our current favourite, etc and bein as we were lawless f*cks back then we were probly gone before we got there.
'After all wsad' and on parting my mate handed me a key and said there's some thing under the drivers seat for you, bloody great says I, a car and a somethinge.

I was about three quarters of the way home and you guessed I got this urge to go to suburban sleeze pit, did a u turn and headed off down a bunch of side streets and then you quessed it Police, blah blah blah, but officer I commited no offence for you to need to apprehend me yada yada, failure to cancel indicators for 200 metres, but officer there is no visual or audial warning in this vehicle to advise me of this, it is as I said, my first time ever driving this car yeah yeah yeah so escorted to police head Quarters, given the Big Test and lo offence is driving under influence 0.2 bac very naughty very arrested the start of the worst day of my life.
