Mudflaps and brake fluid for Renault 19

Does anyone know which is the best brake fluid to use on the series 2 Renault 19? I was told Penrite. Does anyone also know where to buy a full set of Mudflaps for the Renault 19. (Ive contacted Renault dealers in sydney and they are hopeless)???

    Hi Daniel,

In your owner's manual, and possibly on the brake fluid reservoir cap, Renault will have recommended a certain grade of brake fluid, for example, fluid meeting the standard 'DOT 4'. Basically, as long as you stick to this grade of fluid, you shouldn't go wrong. I wouldn't suggest you spend over the odds on 'performance' brake fluid, unless you have a high performance car and do track days where you're likely to boil the fluid.

Ideally, you should change the whole fluid every two years.

Can't help you with the mudflaps...

    Cheers,

    Stuey

Try Caravelle Imports in Melbourne (check Yellow Pages) they may have mudflap sets available.
