    Floride for $750

I just noticed this in the trading post, and it's about 10 minutes up the road from me. I can't help thinking about it with a R12 engine, extractors, cam and Weber. Pity I don't have the space.

    Hey Froggies,

If this is the car I'm thinking of it's basically a shell which has been partly rebuilt as a speedway type racer.....square headlights "blended" into the original holes, chunks cut out of the bonnet and front for air flow to a radiator, full but not that professional roll frame inside, what look to be torana tail lights inserted in a cut out on the rear, a 5 speed transaxle from ??? and a BMW 2000 something TI motor without the injection. Sounds interesting but it is bare metal covered in rust and fundamentally dodgy.

I was interested in it for some of the detail parts and the soft top set up, but not at the asking price...although it is getting closer to realistic than it was 12 months ago. The funny thing was that from what I could see underneath the original rear end looked to be intact except for the different transaxle.

I think the car has been advertised on and off for some years now. I drove up last year and looked.

    Cheers
