    Default Scenic on-board computer

I have a Renault Scenic - the on-board computer is not displaying the "current consumption" parameter when driving or stationary - every other parameter is displaying fine. Any help out there? Thanks Tom

If its just showing "--", then it might just be a soft reset which is hold in the button on the end of the stalk when turning on the ignition. The dials will all do their test functions and it might be fixed afterwards.

Thanks for the reply Craig. It is not showing anything (not even "--") it is just missing the parameter entirely. I have performed a soft reset, the dials do their function checks ok - however the display shows all computer items lit during the check and seems to stay that way for ever. Is the soft reset timed? does it automatically revert to normal once complete? Please advise.

    Thanks

    Tom

It should just return to the normal situation you have when the ignition is on, thats what it did on my Clio Sport (just to see those dials go wild) and Scénic (mine had --s)

Hi Craig - I have performed this reset - took 10 minutes and went through fine, restoring the normal display at the end - however, still no "current consumption" parameter is displayed at all when driving or stationary!!

    Any further suggestions on this?

    Thanks for your interest.
