I think that you will find that many older Renault owners belong to an existing all-models Renault club. You could think of starting a register, which is a communication network for people with these models. I our club in Canberra we would have about 5 R10 and 3 R8, but not all on the road.
    1976 Renault 12 1.4 wagon (Bright yellow)
1998 Peugeot 306 XSi (white) (past)
2006 Peugeot 307 XS HDi Touring (dark grey) (past)
2018 Peugeot 308 HD BlueHDi Touring (Platinum Grey) (current)
    1970s & 80s Peugeot Mixte bicycles
    1970s Peugeot folding bicycle
    1970s & 80s Peugeot Gents bicycles
Other French bikes (Gitane and Motobecane)

    Default R10 Register

Hey guess what, there is a Register for R10, R8 and Caravelle.
The 4cv Register recently at their AGM in Casino, expanded the flock to include all rear engined Renaults. This includes those mentioned as well as those already eligible such as 4cv, Dauphine and Floride. The Register is a national body and meets nationally every two years, but does have state representatives that can organise Mini Musters or activities. This can be in conjunction to your current activities with your respective club. I am involved in the RCCA in Sydney with my 4cv and hopefully restored R10S. Any enquires for membership would be most welcome, and its cheap.
We recently had our muster in Casino with 20 4cv,s 2 dauphines 1 R10 and a Floride. Next Muster 10th will be held in Cowra (Easter 2007).

With additional models not eligible, should be a super weekend.

Ah, I'd missed that news about the 4CV register. The last few years have seen just about all the old "just hanging on" daily R10 drivers disappear and of course the R8s went some years earlier except for mine (there's the odd R10 in use in Perth, but months go between sightings). I suspect we have hundreds of R8/R10 examples left in Australia. But I wonder how many are still in original condition....

Kevin, good spotting, NOW welcome, I had the holden at the meeting this week, plenty of space for wheels, If you are coming next month, you could stick them in your care for me, I will give you a ring before that, DKW?, what happened there.
Clearing the Garage, its all clear to me now...
Getting out to your place is impossible for a few weeks, I am off to the Central coast next weekend and then Canberra the week after.

Probably won't be at the next meeting, so I'll hang onto them for a bit longer. The DKW is an interesting story I'll leave til next time I see you, it's currently in England about to be containerised (if it hasn't been already).
