    You might not get many Aussie visitors - the R5 was not sold here... :-(

    Some of those pictures are great. THat site is Great. The guy in France has lots of pics on his site too. Great work.... (Go le car)

    Hmm, think I'm gonna find a 5 Alpine to buy. Love them.

    Hey thanks guys!

    I didn't know that the R5 wasn't sold in Australia

    At least we got them in north america until 1986, it's still better then nothing! Because Renault doesn't sell cars anymore in north-america (Canada & USA) since 1987

    The is also one renault 5 forum in the Netherlands !

    He is in Dutch, but when you start in englisch we go with you.
    The more R5 people speak the nicer it is.

    I am owner of two R 5 Cabrio's ( made in Belgium by EBS )and one 5 automatic

    The early 5 is a great car, especially the 5 Alpine/Gordini, Craig, wish you had made the comment about wanting one when I was trying to sell mine on the site a while back!
    Full Targa preparation, all the right stuff and could not get $6000 for it!

    Bugger! Would've looked good next to the GTT and Clio Sport. I guess the 10 would've gone for sale then :S

    If it had been a reasonably nice 8 we could have been dealing! As it is now the motor has been pulled out for a race A110, and a "standard" 5 motor put into it for a Pizza delivery car!
