Hah, that's what I said. I think it will be ok due to the material (wink).

I don't drive with the piece on the car, I keep it at home. I don't think it will wear off from heat, but I clean my engine bay regularly so that might affect it.

what you need to do is in 5 years time, reattach the engine cover to ze car and then sell it on ebay for like $45,000.... but not really.

The cover itself, considering the renault connection and the quality of signature, will be worth a whole stack in a few years. Would be fantasic for motor show purposes- "here is my modified rsc 172 boosted to 220 bhp.... and here is it's stock engine cover signed by GIANCARLO Fisichella"

I'm with Nate EVO. Keep that cover, tell the dealer someone stole it, they at least owe you that much.

I'd laquer over the cover somehow to prevent the sig' form rubbing off.

An AF sticker will at least get you 10kw add that to the 5 and you got 200 horsies under that bonnet Did you drag that to the GP? (the cover NOT the car)

    i would take it off

frame it, then put it straight in the pool room

imagine the horror of having a front end bingle and it being ruined aswell.... would be like a double blow!!!
