Icon5 RSC torque & horsepower graphs

    Howdy.

Does anyone know where I can find both a torque and a horsepower graph for a 172 ?

Er, that is, a graph showing Kw and Nm versus rpm (not speed).

    TIA

Most dyno graphs I've seen give it in speed and not rpm. From there it's just a matter of knowing which gear the car was in for the dyno run and then you can work out the rpm for each speed increment. It's a bit fiddly, but you'll be hard pressed to find a dyno chart already converted to rpm. I've attached a spreadsheet which does the conversion for you. I wasn't allowed to attacht it as an excel file, so I changed the file extension from .xls to a .doc. So after you download it, just change the file extension back to .xls.

    Default yes here's one

Can't remember where I found this graph, however it is plotted against RPM which is the correct way to plot raw engine output from a benchtested engine. When the output derived is from a car on rollers then they can be plotted against speed.
I also think its for the new RSC as the power tips over 130Kw, I couldn't find one for the 172 model.

    cheers
