    Icon1 Kangoo in Oz now..

Just looked at the Renault australia site and i see the Kangoo Has been released already.
It also comes out with a 1.6 automatic for $21,500 roughly. Im wondering what others think about this? Could people drive one of these around sydney as a daily driver. I actually have a soft spot for the Kangoo and its here in an auto too.
The ride difference between it and a C3 would be highly noticable Id imagine.
I might test drive one and see what they are like.

Slamming an RS Clio motor into it would make it a better daily driver!! :-)

.....I was thinking Megane RS donk, but eh why not.

Spose they don't look to bad these Kangoo things, I'd probably consider one if I wasn't young.

The 4x4 version of the Kangoo is great I think and much better than the 4x4 citroen berlingo....We wont that kangoo out here though I would say. Im not sure now after further thinking that i will sell my C3 and buy a Kangoo automatic though.

Daniel, it would be useful for carting around gear when you are doing up the R5!

According to some blurb I was reading yesterday, the skylights in the roof are to be an option as well as matting and lining in the rear. No mention of rear seats though. Perhaps they are aiming also for the Sandman market!

simon you would hope so. They would be great as a little euro beach buggy type thing. Aimed at at the right market the kangoo should sell well. The key is diversity....

I think they may be marketed at people who need a small van, really...

"Yes its a Kandoo kind of van" the kangoo is....I love the bank robbery commercial on the TV in europe.
Renault australia can really rehash this for the aussie market and australians would think it was really new...... I love it....

The www.renault.com.au website also has details on the manual version too.

From what I've seen on the roads of Adelaide, the Trafic certainly seems to be making an impression on business, I've seen about a dozen in the last week! All in different busines liveries, so they can't all be the same or mockups! I've certainly seen more Trafics than Meganes.

More ideas to oversaturate Kangoo advertising....

Krazy Kangoo Kapers, a childrens animated cartoon show on at 4.30 pm afternoons, all about the adventures of a talking Kangoo.....

simon that may just work....They could save money on their megane advertising with those silly slogans like "Can a europea handle an ausie load"....
