    Default Diff Setup for R16

Im currently in the final stages of fitting R16 internals into R8 casings.

What I need is the measurement between the diff bearing centre and the pinion face.

Anyone got a R16 workshop manual, im sure it would have this measurement.

    Thanks

Which type no of 16 gearbox did the CW&P come from? As there are several different measurements depending on the type of gearbox.

There should be a type number and index number engraved on the face of the pinion or on the periphery of the crown wheel, like 336-xx.

If it is a 16TS box, it should be a pinion distance of 53mm.

    Pinion depth confirmed as 53mm.
