    Icon10 Another New RSC!

After much deliberation, I decided to go another frenchie

I am considering putting some 16's on it, because I don't really like the stock alloys, and feel 17's might start to compromise handling a little but...

So, I DON'T want to get into another debate about the merits of wheel size , but was hoping someone could confirm the offset I will need. I am pretty sure from the research I have done that I will need 16x7 4x100 with ET of 37 or 38... Can someone confirm as such?

Also, does anyone know the weight of the stock wheels. I am hoping to keep the rotational mass equal to, or below, the stockies...

    Cheers, Tim

47.5 i remembered? Check the inside of the wheel, it tells you there. the spare wheel should be alloy so that's easy!

    Icon14 Good choice Well done

I agree I think the 16's look great, Dom has some nice thin 5 spoke wheels on his CLIO and they look bigger than 16 should.

    What colour are getting

The offset on the original wheel is ET48.5
and the weight without the tyre is about 7kg.

16" is a good compromise between handling and looks.

If you are getting 16", the offset must be between ET37 to ET40.
otherwise the tyres will be rubbing against inside plastic lining at the back.

205/45 R16 tyre is the closest overall diameter to the stock ones.

Picked up the car yesterday... It has already exceeded expectations, although I am a little disappointed about some of the interior plastic fitment - but I guess that's what warranty is for

Thanks for the informative replys guys. I was under the impression I would need ET 37-38 too, so it looks like that is what to go for.

The car is black, so I am considering either matt black finish, or just keep it silver... Haven't really made my mind up yet. Will cruise up to some wheel places in the next few days.
