Default Badge sharing and cross development

It's all about Badge sharing and cross development and in the end saving costs, I know some people in the forum may know about this example, I have seen both versions of the traffic overseas and there not much of a difference. If you cast your minds back to the days of the holden apollo and the toyota camry, or the toyota lexan and the holden commodore.... it's just like that.

You only have to decide what badge you like and the feature vs price....

And Isnt interesting how the Toyota Lexan is much cheaper than the Holden Commodore (for example) even though they are EXACLY the same car.....the mind boggles...

One thing I've noticed about the Trafic is it seems to have been an *instant* hit! I saw 5 on Friday - 4 "small" ones, and 1 long wheelbase high roof one.

I saw a few down around Milperra on Tuesday and Wednesday too. Good to see One of them, don't ask me why, had a hand written numberplate which said "TRAFIC"

Hmmmm...a big square functional box, chilled glovebox, six speed, air-con and diesel. I might even buy a white one to carry the family. I could set up the back like a lounge room! Bugger these small screens - I could fit a full sized telly in there!

apparently we came close to having a Reno here with Holden badges.... The bond moggles

Mind you, it would probably sell better with Holden badges on it

I weep in despair at the power of branding.

What model Renault was that Haakon?

What you need is a Trafic Passenger, but I dont know if or when they will get to Oz.

The Renault Vans - they are sold with GM Vauhxell badges already, so the transition to Holden is minor.... Holden would love a Transit rival.
