    nice pic's

Spewing I didn't make it over there for this event, looked like a half decent turnout.

I know a few guys in the RCCQ (Reno Car Club QLD) that went.

Any of you guys know where I might be able to find some more pic's of this awesome event ??
There has to be some floating around somewhere.

I heard today that one of the members of the RCCQ (reno car club QLD)who attended this meet, actually bought a Renault Alpine GTA, while he was there. He's planing on bringing back with him. It's older then 15 yrs.

Ye gods - I'm infamous! Thats a bit scary - being recognised on the other side of the world. I think I'd better lay low for a while...... Looks like a great day - wish I had the funds to back up my day dreams and go to things like that

It will go well with the Alpine A310 he alrady has, or maybe he'll sell the A310.
But too many Renaults are never enough.

Myself and five other Queenslanders were at Zolder, Colin and Lyn Stark from Melb and there were a couple of Kiwi guys as well. Most could not believe people would come all the way from AUS to look at some Alpines. The whole event was a mind blowout for Renault fans, just too much to take in. The event was also an historic race meet at the track, with mid 80s F1 cars and many others.

Some of us also went to the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Last year's F1 cars doing huge burnouts with current drivers, plenty of old, big name drivers driving old megabuck cars of all types.

Peter has a GTA V6 that will hopefully be registered and shown at the Grand Display. It is a pearl white colour and was imported from NZ.

Thats funny seeing colin from alpine affaire in a picture from a overseas site, will anyone in this forum who went to the Alpine/RS Zolder day give us some feedback here on what the day was like, the owners there or some of the interesting cars that stuck out in their minds.

I have to say some of those German A310's with the "David Hasselhoff" america tuning look are pretty way out....... the black A310 with the multi color pin stripes........ or the white A310 with the huge red/blue stripes on it, which I have seen on some old 80's german alpine day videos. Or the GTA with the huge overly done kit's, what are those europeans thinking..... adding all that extra fiberglass.

Anyhow it all looks like it was an amazing day, will they run another one next year I wonder?.

What cars stand out for fellow froggers here in the photos off some of the sites

I know the person that bought the Alpine GTA Turbo very well. Currently the car is at the shipping agent in England, awaiting Aust Customs to give their OK to importing the car. The car must be over 15 years old. It is costing $3600 to bring it over in a container, incl. Insurance and all dock costs at both ends but excluding 15% duty, and 10% GST on whole cost incl car, shipping, and 15% duty.
The Govt. certainly get their chunk of flesh.
