    Default r10 value

been offered an r10. car is a one owner completely original, underside has no rust, engine starts and it drives, has some bits of rust in the corners of the doors, even the channel for the water run off has not rusted. paint is original with a poor repair on the passenger front guard which is easily repaired. I reckon a carb clean out, fuel flush and it would be back on the road. its got all it's trim in tact. don't have pictures but has anyone got a ball park figure what it might be worth

I think anything under $5000 would be a fair price if the car is as described.

I agree, sounds like this could be made into a nice original car.

To get a nice R10, bodywork, trim and stuff like steering wheel and interior bits that are a bit elusive are the issues. If it's mostly rust free and straight and doesn't need major body repairs, and if the interior is good, the mechanicals are the easy bits with pretty much everything available.

Let us know how you get on!!

    Good luck with it

sounds like a delightful bit of kit - I have two, one is not a 10S but has a 10S dashboard.

unless a prior custodian fitted it, opinion is that as Renault Australia was getting to the end of production they had a lot of spares on the shelves and decided to use them up...

Late R8s in Oz had some early R10 "woodwork" in the dash too....
