    Default R10 Heater Removal

    Do you need to take the dashboard out to remove the heater from an R10?

    i have taken the bottom valance out, but I crony seen to be able to wiggle it out?

    The answer is Yes, the dashboard needs to be removed!

    Oddly enough, the R8 does not need the dash removed to get the heater out.

    At least the air conditioner is easy to maintain. When the bag of ice in the plenum chamber melts, you just add another bag of ice

    I've never had to remove the heater from our R8 - keep those coolant changes going....
