Default R8 Quaife LSD Strong Box Install

Dropped of the R8 today with Marty at Alpine Affaire to get my new Quaife LSD Strong Box (R16 internals) fitted!
I think this will improve my track times and my confidence as have running a locked strong box for a few years and have found some restrictions especially on tight tracks.
Looking forward to getting it back!!

    Jelly!

That's street talk for jealous these days, or so I've been told.

Will be interesting to hear how it feels under corner exit compared to the locker.

Jealousy might be a sin, but quite a few of us might be sinning right now....

    Hi Col
I got Rob Sealy to build it up, using the usual bits for a strong box but didnít remember to ask him to take pics!
But I have a pic of the Quaife lsd that was slightly modified (output shafts shortened) to fit the R10 casing and bell housing.

Straight line was of course fine, but tight corners I felt the back end was skitzy, like it was about to loose grid without warning.

I felt very uneasy pushing it harder, so was backing off to avoid a spin out.

Once in, I will try the same ciruit (Bryant Park, Haunted Hills) and see how it feels and of course report back!
