Default what is the right coolant for a 1963 R4?

I can't seem to find a ref to the coolant I should use in the R4 There seems to be a lot of confusion and contradictions, in part due to the fact that most info is for modern Renault cars. I remember I used to get a clear blue Ethyl/glycol stuff in a tin can, but now everybody talks about the 'right PH'.
Can anyone give me a definitve answer to what goes into a 1963 R4L with an 800.001 engine?
    Thanks.

I look forward to the answers... Always good for a discussion, this one!

I use the standard Castrol coolant from Repco in the R8 - it is one of the green ones - and it seems fine!

For many years in my 4CV I used a green Castrol corrosion inhibitor (Nulon offers one) as small can of concentrate that you dilute with distilled water (I used rainwater tank water in Adelaide). We don't need antifreeze although I like the higher boiling point of the coolants. I'm using pale blue Peugeot coolant now in the 4CV because I got some cheaply.

My suspicion is that they are all fine if changed on spec and if not mixed (as there is more than one different chemical base for the stuff).

Now to stand back and wait for the discussion...

I use Nulon Long Life 100% concentrate in my Renault R12. Which on the bottle I have has 4 years 250,000 Km which ever comes first life span.

I see now the same product has 7 years 500,000 Km which ever come first life span.

Which ever manufacturer or product you chose stick to it for your top ups and like John says stick to the manufacturers service specs and don't mix coolant products.

I use the Nulon in the Citroen CX. Please don't ask why I haven't standardised yet....

Another for Nulon green. Recommended to me by my “radiator guy”. I tried Penrite SIN in the R10, but went back to green.
Been using it in my R8 since 04.
