    I suspect the rear suspension is fully compressed when the jockey wheel is removed, giving rise to "almost" power steering.........
    Don't it always seem to go that you don't know what you've got 'til it's gone............

    Looks like an older style caravan as well.

    He may have the van loaded so that it is well balanced or may have invested in over ride shocks that were available from the other side of the world. But sill would be interesting to what it sits like when its under way

    The original French Spec R16 rear suspension setup was very high as per pic

    In OZ marketing people said "Lower the rear" easy in a R16

    Setup for towing is probably original French Spec

    The owner bought the van recently in poor condition, and did a good job of restoring it. It weighs only 600Kg, and the 16TS tows it quite well. The van was bought to actually be attached to a very original Holden 48-215 that he also owns.
