Default 1970ís Renault wiring loom tape color.

Can anybody shed any light on the looming tape color used in varying 1970ís Renaultís?
A few years ago I had a bit to do with making a ooom for a Ď71 Renault.. this was a fully imported car and had grey looming tape from the factory. I have had a couple of other looms ive worked on of the era that also used grey tape.
In my R15 and in 17s Iíve worked on, they seem to use a green tape, for at least some parts of the loom, although think I remember parts of engine looms on r17 being black?
Whatís got me a little confused now though is my 16ts. Itís a 73 model and I stripped the loom down and did a bit of work. Re taped it last night and started fitting it today. It had black tape on it, and appears to have always had black tape. I taped it in black. Today I was curious as to the routing of where the loom should sit and clip in, so opened the bonnet of my Ď76 16TS and discovered it had grey tape rather than black. Thinking that maybe 16ís may have been supposed to use grey, I opened the bonnet of a 74 or 75 16TS thatís at my place, and found it also had black tape.. Iím sure this one is original as well.
Mid always thought it was earlier cars (60ís and early 70ís) that had used grey, as Iím pretty sure R8ís use grey.. and thought the 16ís after around Ď72ish May have gone to black, but the grey in my Ď76 has me confused.
Not sure how much it matters (for my 16ts it doesnít anyway), but can anybody confirm what color should be on what, and maybe why?

Black = an Australian sourced loom. Grey = a French sourced loom, used before and after Renault fitted Australian sourced looms on the Australian assembled cars between 1971 and 1975 (depending on model). As you have found, the 15/17 uses a dark green loom.

Those different colours of the tape for the wiring looms are interesting Angru, FYI my 1973 R17 TL has green wrapping tape - original and cleaned from last engine bay refurb
This is a shot of the wiring which looks black but is dark green. Someone added an extra new wire for the starter from the ignition, the only extra wire ever added except for the spotties I've added and the wiring for the NoDiz which didn't happen

Thankyou Simon and John.. I’d assumed it was to do with where the cars were assembled/ looms sourced.
I’m sorted for the R16 with black.
As for the grey, I have some tape that isn’t ideal, but will work (if anybody can source grey non adhesive looming tape I’ll be keen to know, otherwise I have 10 rolls of grey nito sitting on my coffee table for a job). I believe escort (and maybe some cortina) used the same color tape, and the people who restore them also struggle to find a decent replacement.
BUt... where do I get the darkish green if I ever want to make an r15/17 look like it should?
