    Default r10 major

    i.ve ordered a panel for my r10s and i.ve been told it's not for a r10 major ? what's the difference ? anyone know ?

    Which R10 panel is it? There were different front and rear panels: round headlight front panel-high taillight rear panel for the early R10 and square headlight front panel-low taillight rear panel for later R10's and R10S. I think every other panel on the car are the same.
    Don't it always seem to go that you don't know what you've got 'til it's gone............

    it's the front right hand fender panel. 1970's r10s.

    has the rectuangular headlights. the one i've ordered looks as though it has the same shape. it's the front right hand fender panel. 1970's r10s.

    If it was an early round headlight fender panel it would have a Vee-shaped notch to fit the turn indicator as per Driven's first picture (which happens to be a US spec car, as it has bumper extensions, plain indicator lenses and sealed beam headlights rather than the 6" Cibies.)

    I think the in Europe the R10 Major was the round eye model
