    Icon9 Help no blinkers

Hello since i just go the new(secondhand) engine put in my Fuego 85" GTX i have notice that when i have any of my lights on, eg brake, driving, and normal lights. My blinkers do not work or are really, really slooooooow. Does any one know the cause of this, or am i going to have to go through my whole car looking for the fault.

My fuses are all ok, i just checked
Wireing that i can get to looks fine, no melting plastic smell either

Sounds like a problem with an earth connection/s somewhere in the circuit.
The most likely culprits would be the rear lights. Try cleaning up the earth connections and try the lights again.

It is an earth connection for the front loom - it is down in front of the battery under the right headlight below the fan relay. Odds on that the mechanic undid if he moved the loom out of the way when taking out the rad and its fans. Look for the 10mm bolt that holding a couple of black wires to the bodywork that needs tightening.

I did the same thing to one of my Fuegos that took me ages to find - I had simply forgotton to tighten it

Thanks people, The problem turned out to be that the connecters between the rear light groups were dirty allowing current to pass between them so my blinkers and brake lights ended up linked, wich proved to be to much draw for the blinker relay to handel so it stopped working, cleaned it all up and it now works

Thanks for the surgestions, they started me in the right direction
