Default Wanted to buy: 1 x late Dauphine dress hubcap

Wanted to buy: 1 x late Dauphine/750 dress hubcap as shown. 230mm diameter. Also need the retaining bolt. Just need the one, but happy to buy four or five if you want to sell a set.
If you can't match it but have four of a different pattern which will do the trick, I could still be interested.

Thar particular hubcap is late Dauphine/750 (not used on the 8/10), it may help in your search.

Thanks Simon. They are R10 centres, but I take your point and will change the advert.

A set of four in Perth. All have marks of use and an example close up pic.

Thanks Graelin. Please pm me with a price and cost of freight/postage to Sydney. They look like just what I'm after.

Interestingly this type of hub cap was used on all the R8's and R10's assembled in South Africa . .. .

That's interesting Graelin. What else are you sitting on here in Perth?

Steve, I think you'll find you can buy new centre bolts too, should you want that extra polish!!

My useless contribution is that if you had a pair of each type on opposite sides, almost no-one would notice.

John, Graelin decided not to proceed with the sale. At least that's what I have to assume, as he no longer responds to my private messages. Maybe he got a better offer locally. In the meantime, I've found that the centres are available from Der Franzose, Melun Retro Passion and Bretagne Auto Retro. Oddly, Melun doesn't seem to offer the bolts, and is by far the dearest for the centres. The cheapest of the three is Bretagne, who offer both the centres and the bolts. I've ordered from John twice before, and although he's a little wanting in communication, his goods get here promptly and in good packaging. To sum up, I've ordered a brand new set of four (with bolts) from him.

Hmm, that's strange. I'm not aware of anyone locally shopping for those items, not that I know everything that is going on in WA!

I'd echo your comments. Bretagne are reliable suppliers but a bit less so on communication. I've used them satisfactorily several times.

    Cheers,

Sorry if that is your interpretation. Other things like work get in the way and life get in the way. Not always on here either. I am not in the habit of making a deal and upselling from that. I tried to help you out that is all.

Hi John. What else John W? Some hub caps maybe 750? 1 New original stock Dauphine Gordini rear bumper rubber and 2 over riders. Have some rust pitting. A chromed Dauphine G tapper cover. A Dauphine head light rim used. Nos Renault name for Dauphine. I think that is about all thatís left now. Some parts from Melun Retro visit which cost a fortune are some where to be found!

Aha. If they are the early domed type clip on 750 hubcaps I'd be interested if they are reasonable (don't need to be perfect) as I lost my last spare recently!

    Cheers and thanks.
