Kinda boring. Jay is a lot more clued in about the cars he owns. You can tell he knows them. Didn't know much about the R5 so they talked about some other crap. Still, nice car.

    Typical Yanks!
I actually like some of his videos, but!
Totally missed the whole point of this car - corners and handling!
The owner was fairly useless and misinformed. Think his main game
    was to promote BAT.

I wouldn't mind being useless and misinformed if I owned that car! There have been 3 (or 4?) R5 Turbos on BAT over the last 6-9 months....all looked very nice and went for widely different prices.

Thanx. for the tipoff. It amuses me how some people are ignorant of Renaults. Did he never hear of an R8 Gordini?

They never got any R8G's in the good 'ole USA! In fact, after the Dauphine, they got bugger all, so their lack of knowledge is not surprising!

Don't it always seem to go that you don't know what you've got 'til it's gone............

It's a bit like Europeans talking about American cars.
I see the point in either. While the Europeans can't get their heads around that a man who has to drive 300 miles to the nearest twisty mountain road doesn't know a thing about handling or what it's supposed to be good for, the Americans will never understand why dropping a clutch is considered bad driving elsewhere in the world.

An R5 Turbo is as much out of its element in America as a Lincoln Town Car in a European town.

Then again, that car stars only in (american) mafia movies.

Sweden however has the largest American car scene in the world (after the us, of course).
