    Default R1135 Gordini 1967

    Happy Easter out there.
Please could my assumptions be verified by someone who knows, that I am correct.
I am servicing my calipers. I noticed that 2 of the 4 had a a nipple sitting in the centre of a square in the casting on the opposite side to the piston. The other 2 just had a nipple with no square. Am I correct in my assumption that the 2 with the square use square o'ring seals, the other round o'rings. With the square seals in the calipers with no square in the casting, the pistons just fell in, no pressure on the seal.
    Regards,
    Ross

Hi Ross. There has been a discussion about the very subject here on AF. Do a search using AF search engine on the main page. Good luck

But yes, your conclusion seems to be what was said in my thread. Square seal on the caliper with the square in the casting.
