    Default r15 rear shock absorbers

Probably been asked before but, owners of R15/17,s what brand of shocks have you replaced the old/original shocks with? Mine are possibly seized so am looking for alternatives. Had some LIP struts for our old 505 SRDT Peugeot but cannot say they were impressive or long lasting. Quick look so far on the NET have not been encouraging. Were locally made Monroes worthwhile or will I need Bose/Bilstein /Sachs etc.? Advice most welcome.

GeeDee. I recently bought these Gas ones for the rear and some for the front. In Australia!

Failing that or the Koni avenue, you could look for Boge/Sachs? shocks for Dacia 1300 (R12) in Europe. I think those are still manufactured.
