We all want it, but the 45 “watchers” probably all come from here and you know how tight we are!

I've always wondered how the radiator works on these
Would be a great novelty to have this. I'm guessing you know when you're speeding when your beret starts to lift

    No speedo!
No gauges at all for that matter.
What do you see on the dashboard?....a board..

You know you're going too fast when the man in front with the red flag can't keep up and stay in front!

They'd have to move the decimal couple of points to the left for me to be able to afford it.

Are the Viking horns for the driver or the car?

They are quite competent little cars actually.

The other rear-radiator Renaults I've seen have a fan cast into the flywheel and the whole arrangement is shrouded such that air is pulled through the radiator and down through the flywheel to exhaust behind it. The alligator bonnet sits on a rubber seal. It wasn't until the mid-1920s that Louis would contemplate a change.

A modern vehicle with ABS and Airbags, 0-100 in under 8 secs etc. would also depreciate as fast, whereas this little beastie should appreciate.

Not entirely sure I have this right, but...
Cars are normally exempt from capital gains tax
('cos if they were taxable we could also claim a deduction for interest, depreciation etc )
BUT once they reach 100 years of age, they are classified as antiques
    and become subject to tax.!!
Very tempting! Would be a great asset!

Lucky the 4CV doesn't reach 100 for another 31 years, by which time I'll be 99.....

    Hmmmm
It expired and is relisted so get clicking. Perhaps if they put 6mths rego on it and offered a free plane ticket in Aust, it may encourage the old tight ar*e pensioners on here to buy it and drive it home to save a few bucks Deal breaker !

You are probably right but you have to consider the opportunity cost of having it sitting there for most of the time.

To digress (again) i don't get the prices of old stuff I've driven a vintage care once, and it was a terrible drive.
Also with paintings etc. - i watch 'Fake or Fortune' sometimes. If they can't readily tell the difference .....
Same goes for old cars - if i like a particular one i'd rather have a reproduction with new technology guts and it probably would cost less then the original.
