Default Renault 16's in Maldon Vic

Driving past a couple of 16's for sale in Maldon, my mate couldn't resist another project. First advertised for $4000, he finally got them for $2000. Don't know much about these cars. These are Australian assembled. At an All French Day, Mike Neil told me a bit about the differences to the French model.
The yellow one has only done 47,000 km. We still have another parts car to pick up. Should be able to make a good car out of the yellow one. I think it is a 76' model.

From the time I had with my Renault 16, they’re worth saving - as long as you have the time and expertise. They certainly were a brilliant car.

Maybe some money helps, too. But I thoroughly enjoyed the time I had with my 16.

Very underrated cars. A good 16TS was fab.

Citroens edged them out in the ultimate parameters, but nevertheless amazing cars that deserve far more recognition... and worth saving ...
