Interesting colour. I once saw a Peugeot 203 in Vientianne that colour and assumed it was ex-military.

I think the original was red color which can be seen in the interior, story from the nearest body works shop was the exterior paint was removed and repainted with that army green undercoat.
The car is situated in Seremban about 65km down south from Kuala Lumpur. But this was almost 4 years ago.
Btw.. I did not bother to look at the undercarriage, but must be having a really strong chassis since the hardtop is detachable.
If only they really were 'really strong'.... Strength, in my view, was perhaps adequate, but not much more than adequate. Others may have a different view.
Thanks for that detail. We had a Caravelle in the tropics (Kenya) and the rust was so bad there were holes in the front cross-member.....
Lovely cars though, and they drive very nicely. Great styling, from which the dreaded BMC shaped a device called the MGB.
