    Default Ultima shocks, any good??

    Hey guys, newb here

i have a 172 with dead front shocks and came across these Ultima's on ebay:

    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/ULTIMA-E...4383.l4275.c10

I've never heard of them but they get good reviews from 4X4 guys. Has anyone ever put tried them in a clio?
Compared to shocks from kamracing I'll save about 100 of my pov australian dollarydoos

    Cheers

I've got a set of heavy duty rears on my Falcon which replaced the leaking original ones. They seem fine & do what it says on the tin.

    Alrighty that’s good to hear😁.
How long have you had them in for, any squeaking? Or harsh ride?

They've been on the car for about 5 years and have performed well. But that's for a fairly mainstream Australian car. Whether they studied what the Clio needs, who knows. I'd be searching the Clio forums to see what the favoured shocks are before making a decision.

Yeah that’s my main concern, wether they’ll be ‘sporty’ enough.
We’ll see if being a cheap b*stard pays off for me
