    Any recommendations for a reasonably priced job? With thanks

    Many R4s (incl. fourgonnette), R5LS, R16TS.


    GS 1015, 1220, sedans and wagons.
    CX 2200, 2400.
    ID 1966, 1969, DS21H, DSpecial, DS23 Pallas.
    C5 2002, 2004 petrol and diesel.
    D Special 1974
    Xantia Activa 1998 (look out Gulargambone)
    GS 5 speed sedan (what a tale)
    1986 2CV6
    CX25GTi 1985 auto
    CX2500 IE Pallas 1985 auto
    DS23EFI 1975 Pallas

    And now:

    C5 2.2 HDI 2005 wagon
    DS23 1973 Pallas

    I don't think you have much choice of repairers.

    Drop in and see Dave, if you go there

    Mulla and Jacka are long gone.

    Generally I wouldn't recommend a "Specialist" trawled from the net.

    Agree with this recommendation

    Have used them for SU's and for dyno tuning of 404 with KF2

    They know their stuff and are honest

    Not dirt cheap, but one generally gets what one pays for - they are not robbers, but charge a fair price for the effort involved. We owe it to ourselves to keep such people in business.

    Not sure how much Solex they do, but they are the sort who would tell you "we don't understand these ones , you have to go to ---" I would be surprised were they to be unable to deal with a Solex

    If you need pistons and liners for R4, I have some.
