    Default Parts numbers catalogue

    Hey all,
Through my own cunning I've acquired several boxes of R12 bits and pieces kept as warranty and service stock at a rural Victorian dealership and forgotten about. All have carefully logged part numbers, but buggered if I know where some of them fit in the scheme of things. Does anyone have a parts catalogue that I can throw some numbers at?
    Cheers, one.four

    Hello One.four,

I have an R12 parts catalogue as do quite a few members.
I've got some of it scanned but unfortunately most of the catalogue is hardcopy.
Actually, the easiest way to search the parts is with Google, even for an oldie like an R12.
Just enter the part number and Renault and you'll get a description and/or photograph.
You'd be surprised how many old part numbers are listed.

For example, the part in your photograph come up as a gasket for a Solex 32EISA/32SEIA/35EITA.
A lot of Renault parts are interchangeable between models so this part and others will not only fit the 12.

I'm not up with part numbers and its a lot of hard work to look them up in the books.

Maybe put up some pics of the parts (which I know is a lot of work)

What do you want to do with these parts? are they for personal use or do you wish to on sell them?

Measure the piston hole size that will tell you which cc capacity 807/44 etc engine it is off. My guess just by greater numbers is R16 but could be R15/17TL or 17G.

That's the best way. Take a list and sit down in David's office for a while.
