Before people get too excited and buy something that ends up being useless as a competition car tow vehicle, I'm going to be a wet blanket - again.

It can do it, but the police and insurance companies won't like you.

    Maximum towing weight, R1338.

Maximum trailer bar downweight - 50kg

Maximum trailer weight, without brakes - 450kg

Maximum trailer weight, with brakes - 850kg

    Total train weight - 2185kg.

    Quick calculation.
Virage wagon kerb weight (so not including comp car spares, tools and driver) - 975kg
Sooper Dooper stripped 12 competition car - 850kg
    Mythical lightweight trailer - 360kg

Total train weight of that little combination (less driver, spares, fuel etc) - 2185kg.

I pulled trailers in my last 12 but that had a 1.4 motor from a Virage TS.
These were only box trailers and didn't have anywhere near the weight of a loaded car trailer but I wouldn't be pulling any more than maybe 300 - 400kg.
It's okay on the flat but getting up hills could be a problem.
Drop a K4M into the 12 and it might be okay.
"I cannot help but notice that there is no problem between us that cannot be solved by your departure."
