    Anticipation growing?

Truth is I took too long to edit and it timed out on me. Doh!
Will try again tonight with fewer words...

    Bulletin No. 3.

    Here it is!
My apologies. Took the A110 to the Renault Roundup last Sunday.
After 30 years of ownership, decided to clean and polish. - all good.
Then decided to pull it apart - as you do!
Well, the job has grown exponentially.
Panic hasn't quite set in yet, but..
Now, there is just a little less than 8 WEEKS TO GO!

    A quick recap;
    20 - 22 April
The Great Alpine road around Bright Vic.
Mt Hotham, Falls Creek and Mt Buffalo.
    NOT a competitive event.
NO entry fee. Register with S.K.
    Contact is Steve Kalenderian 0418548311
Open to Alpines and rear drive products of Dieppe.
Great mountain bitumen roads - No dirt roads.
    Accommodation near Bright arranged.
Free to stay anywhere else OK.
Please book SOON (held to end Feb) and advise S.K.
I will then take this as final entry list.

    Additional info;
Route details will be forthcoming to entrants.
A Friday afternoon group run to Bright and return on Sunday (can't call it a convoy!)
You do not need a navigator - all quite simple.
Please bring your wife/partner/mistress/sugar daddy etc.
If you need a passenger, please advise. We will find you one.
If you own an Alpine that is a non - runner, We will find you a ride.
There will be a "rolling concourse" and various activities to engage all.
Looking for a good photographer/video/drone - for mementos - anyone?
    Sponsors are welcome - anyone?

Well, my car is as ready as it will ever be. Brake fluid changed, engine oil changed, gearbox topped up, coolant bled, 4 wheel alignment.
    Bring on the mountains!

I have posted a report on the "opposition forum" OZ Renaultsport.
Not savvy enough to transfer the file here, sorry.
Find it in the Social threads.
There are bound to be more posts as lots of photos were taken.

Another vote for a top weekend. Thanks to Steve for organising, and to everyone who came. Let's make the interval to the next one a lot less than the interval since the previous one.

Thanks to Steve and Caroline K for their great organisation of the Alpine tour . We were lucky to be part of the best "event " that I can remember in the Renault world . Special cars , special place , special company and the weather . Mon dieu!!!!
Perhaps it won't be another 20 years till the next . I will be very old and may not drive as fast !

There is another opportunity to have an Alpine run with the Rutherglen Classic 15th and 16th February 2019. See classichistoricalcars.com/rutherglen-classic-car-rally/

Cost is $600 per car and includes a run around Winton. Should be a good weekend but not exclusive to Alpines. I will be entering and i think a few other Alpine enthusiasts will as well. The new Alpine A110 will be there.

Thinking about it. Sounds good, especially if there are other Alpines.
