All being well, we will have the Caravelle and the R8 there together with a picnic lunch and planning on a restful French day with other enthusiasts.

    Hope to see you there

    Cheers
    Phil

Would love to make it there but the tyranny of distance once again will mean I will be an apology.
Good luck and hope the weekend goes well.
    cheers

Hi there Angelo. How is that fantastic R8G of yours going. I was blown away when I saw it in the flesh at Geelong Revival. I reckon it would roar up here in a flash based on the runs at Gelong.

I'll have some French pastries for you.
    Cheers
    Phil

Thanks Phil I was happy with how my R8 (G replica) went at Geelong. Even finished up with a 3rd place!

    Enjoy those pastries for me!

You could slip over in about 7 hours...... Each way of course. We used to drive the R8 from Adelaide to Melbourne overnight for racing at Sandown, home on Sunday afternoon.

Angelo, 3rd place in that lot of cars is extremely good. You could have fooled me it was a replica, I actually thought it was the best R8G I had come across. You have to be a bit desperate to go looking at body and engine identification. Sounds like you love the car and that's what counts.
Make sure you contact me if ever your up in Adelaide.
    Cheers
