    Default New Dauphine Windscreen

I have had no luck with sourcing one locally or O/S.

I found some possibilities by Googling in French - pare-brise. Getting one here may be the problem.

Ralph Moore auto glass in Sydney carries some pilkington stock. A lot of us have got R8/10 screens there.

I have been waiting for a Dauphine screen from Pilkington since April. The story I have been told is that the windscreen making operation is moving to Finland, the English workers are disgruntled and not much seems to be happening. I need to contact Ralph Moore again to get some idea of a supply date. They say their orders from Pilkington are only being partially filled.

I presume an old windscreen is no good to you?
I do have a collection of windscreens I am visiting in Melbourne over the new years break, if it helps any?

Good grief. That's hopeless. Are there no suppliers in France I wonder? Our R8 has a Pilkington new screen - surprisingly speckled in only a couple of years, so I do wonder about the glass outer hardness or something.

Best wishes for Christmas and the New Year.
